The CIPR PRide Awards shortlist is out (South of England and Channel Islands) and we’re made up about being shortlisted in the Best Integrated Campaign and Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy categories.

We’ve been delivering some great results for our clients this year, on top of a period of planned growth for Team AMBITIOUS. So making it through to the shortlist is brilliant news.

Our campaign work for Dickies – Boosting Brand Authenticity for Dickies Workwear – is up for Best Integrated Campaign with results delivered for the client including:

  • Growing social channels by 506% on Twitter in first six months and then 70% in 2018; and on Facebook by 95% in first six months and then 322% in 2018.
  • Exceeded our press coverage target in 2018 by 100%

Sarah Woodhouse, Director, AMBITIOUS says about the work we deliver: “The programme we run for Dickies Workwear is a great example of planned and opportunistic PR and social activity. We are very proud of the strategy we have developed to support Dickies Workwear to reach a younger target audience.”

And, we join five other PR agencies from across the region in the category of Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.

Now in its sixteenth year, the CIPR PRide Awards are recognised as the leading regional PR awards which recognise outstanding work being delivered in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as across six English regions. Each year, PRide Awards receive more than 1,000 entries from public relations teams, consultancies and individuals across the UK.

The results are out on Friday 8th November at an awards ceremony in Bristol at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre.

2019 has been a good year for industry recognition so far. So we’ll be keeping everything crossed for November!

These PRide Award nominations come on the back of Team AMBITIOUS winning Best PR Agency at the PRCA 2019 DARE Awards and Best PR Agency at The Drum’s national RAR Awards for the second year running.
