AMBITIOUS worked with a sustainability management consultancy, which works along the length and breadth of the supply chain upstream and downstream. Using its expertise to build responsible supply chains that work for people, for business and for the planet, the consultancy helps its enterprise and multinational clients to better anticipate and manage risks, build resilient sourcing strategies and invest for social impact.

AMBITIOUS PR was brought on board as the consultancy’s first agency partner to organise and coordinate their PR activities. We also worked to position the company as the leading sustainability and responsible sourcing partner for businesses and develop the profile of their CEO and founder.

The consultancy works across several key sectors including mining, electronics, luxury and investment, so our strategy sought to target decision makers and sustainability professionals across these verticals.

We closely tracked developments within the consultancy’s key sectors to identify opportunities for media comment as well as monitoring the wider regulatory and media landscape around responsible business.

Through a combination of reactive (business-led announcements, partnerships, and joint reports etc) and proactive (seeking comment opportunities and drafting social media commentary) we managed the consultancy’s press office activity to support business development.

A key part of our strategy involved leveraging the business’ existing network of industry associations to secure speaking opportunities and develop relationships, as well as ensuring that the consultancy benefited from partnership announcements focused on high-profile clients.

Across the year, we secured over 30 mentions for the business in key trade and business outlets across mining, luxury, and sustainability sectors. We also coordinated, advised on, and created content for the launch of multiple new services, reports and partnerships.
