Continuing to build on our digital service offering at AMBITIOUS, we’re really excited to announce the roll out of our new social media training programme created to help companies promote their brand or business through their workforce – the Employee Advocacy Social Media Workshop.

What is Employee Advocacy?

Termed ‘Employee Advocacy’, the concept essentially means employees become advocates for your business and share information about it – from specific campaigns, products, services to organisation culture.

Employee advocacy is not new in itself. Employees have championed their employers in many different ways over the years. But, social media is the most common and effective channel given most employees already have active social media profiles.

Successful Employee Advocacy campaigns also show that employees can reach places that your brand currently doesn’t. Either through different connections and followers or platforms and channels where your brand has no profile or presence.

The workshop

Tailored for your business and delivered onsite, the new AMBITIOUS Employee Advocacy: Social Media Workshop will cover all the essentials businesses need to empower their employees, encourage senior members of staff to take industry conversations online, and offer companies a structure that helps build a long-term advocacy programme.

The training workshop will include a full run through of tools, techniques and resources that teams can use to shape content using relevant social channels while covering common complexities of blending personal and brand content on social media. Before conducting the workshop, our team will also work with you to ensure the employee advocacy programme can support business objectives and reflect company policies.

Come and meet us

We’ll be showcasing our new workshop at the Business Showcase South West on 23rd October at Ashton Gate Stadium October, so be sure to stop by stand S11 to find out how an Employee Advocacy Programme can support HR and company culture initiatives and wider marketing communications activity. Here is what Elizabeth Quigley, Aardman Animations had to say about a workshop we recently delivered with their senior creative and commercial teams:

“Ambitious delivered a well-structured and thorough social media training session with our Heads of Department and Creative Directors. Over the course of the afternoon, they presented best practice advice and industry relevant examples to demonstrate how our team could build their personal brands, showcase their skills and generate valuable connections. The team came away inspired and motivated, and we’ve been enjoying watching them put the tips into action.”
