We started the business in 2013 to create a new style of PR agency, driven by client demand for a more agile, collaborative partner outside the confines of the traditional agency model. And, we’ve been growing ever since.

Bristol Property Centre, NHS Blood & Transplant and Reygar Marine Engineering are all clients to have recently appointed AMBITIOUS. And, due to our expertise in the burgeoning grey market, we’ve has also secured new clients Guinness Care and Abbeyfield.

Our aim has always been to collaborate with and support ambitious business founders, entrepreneurs, SMEs and larger corporates across a raft of industry sectors in the South West, nationally and beyond.

Driven by the experience of our founding directors Mel Beeby Clarke and Lis Anderson, AMBITIOUS’ core sectors include professional services, education, creative industries, property and construction and food and drink.

But the agency is also building up a strong reputation of also representing membership bodies such as Bristol Media and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), as well as the Government’s Department for International Trade (DIT).

To help develop and continue our agency growth, a new director and partner is joining the AMBITIOUS team this month – Sarah Woodhouse.

Sarah will become a joint partner in the business. She has two decades of experience and a strong track record in managing and growing successful PR agencies. She previously co-owned a network of three offices in China before selling the business to Cohn & Wolfe (WPP) in 2011.

Her experience extends across numerous international brands covering the consumer, trade and corporate spectrum, both at her own agency and at industry stalwarts including Edelman and McCann Erickson. She has a great deal of experience in luxury goods, hospitality and tourism, property, professional services, design, art and culture and the creative sector.
