Houndworthy’s ambitious launch campaign

22nd January 2014/in INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS, WHAT'S NEWS.../by Lis Anderson

Last updated on February 20th, 2024 at 11:14 am

Bristol based PR consultancy Ambitious has been appointed by lifestyle brand HOUNDWORTHY to launch their online retail business and support its expansion in the UK and beyond. Update via the news page from Bristol Media

HOUNDWORTHY was founded last year by creative entrepreneurial duo Morgan Cummins, a copywriter, and his business partner Jo Holdaway, an illustrator, after being inspired by adventures with their own dogs.

The ultimate celebration of worthwhile things for dog lovers, the HOUNDWORTHY brand was fashioned to be unlike any other retailer in the dog goods sector. It offers a curated collection of more than 150 carefully sourced and design-led products and is attracting the attention of dog lovers and other upmarket partnerships far and wide.

Ambitious has already been raising the profile of the brand to a UK and increasingly international audience through engaging bloggers, social media platforms and design-led magazine titles such Elle Decoration. Exclusive events such as the Best of Britannia Exhibition in Clerkenwell and popular Spirit of Christmas Fair at Olympia have also been a key part of the marketing communications activity since launch.

Emotive imagery and creative content of shared experiences, feelings and ideas of how life with dogs is rewarding plays a big part in telling the Houndworthy story. Social media efforts using Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter platforms help the brand create an ever-growing fan base and initiate conversations about HOUNDWORTHY’s products and escapades.

Co-founder Morgan Cummins, said: ”Deciding to launch a global-minded brand from the South West of England was always going to present various challenges in terms of communications. Working with Ambitious is an exciting and educational experience, utilising their know-how and vision for getting our launch noticed by both domestic and international audiences. They helped us identify media opportunities and potential business partnership avenues that we would’ve missed without having them on board. Ambitious helped us achieve what we set out to do for introducing our business to the world.”

Lis director, added: “HOUNDWORTHY is business with international ambition and we’re proud to be part of its growing success. Thoughtful, timely content is central to spreading the HOUNDWORTHY buzz and we’re delighted to see a sales increasing significantly month on month.”

Why did your LinkedIn impressions go down?7th September 2026 - 2:03 pm

For much of 2026, LinkedIn users have all been asking the same question: “Why are my impressions suddenly so low? The answer is not as straightforward as you might think. In 2026, LinkedIn has rolled out six major updates. Each of which has collectively reshaped and redefined how content is ranked, distributed and engaged with […]

    Reddit disappears from ChatGPT24th August 2026 - 11:01 am

For the past two years, Reddit has been one of AI’s favourite sources of information. Its vast archive of discussions, recommendations, opinions and expertise made it a natural fit for large language models looking to understand how real people talk about real topics. It became the go to source for AI search citations. But that’s […]

The future of corporate affairs: key shifts ahead of 203018th August 2026 - 12:10 pm

Last updated on September 1st, 2026 at 01:47 pmFor years, corporate communications had a relatively clear brief: manage reputation, navigate issues, engage stakeholders and help organisations communicate through change. Those responsibilities remain, but the environment has changed dramatically. Geopolitical uncertainty, fragmented media ecosystems, declining trust and misinformation, rising stakeholder expectations and artificial intelligence are reshaping […]

  • How to use Reddit as a business8th May 2026 - 12:17 pm

Reddit is not a marketing channel in the conventional sense. It is a network of communities with strong norms, active moderation and a zero tolerance for anything self-aggrandising or promotional. That makes it something of a double-edged sword for businesses. Reddit can be valuable for gaining unabashed audience insights. It can also be a useful […]
