December Marketing Inspirations
Christmas Day has come and gone but the festive spirit remains as we look at a few of our teams’ favourite December marketing inspirations. Most of them are festive-filled, so take a look and get some inspo too!

With it being December, this month had to be a Christmas-themed pick for me! A couple of weeks ago Aldi opened a pop-up Champagne Bar on London’s exclusive, Bond Street, just minutes away from Claridge’s. The bar, conveniently named, The Veuve Bar, served glasses of the supermarkets’ award-winning for just £2.33 a glass. A master PR stroke and a great advert for their Champagne.
You’re walking in London and spot a swanky new Champagne bar. Free samples? Go on then. The champagne on tap is fruity and delicious – you know it’s pricey.
But here’s the catch. It’s Aldi’s Veuve Monsigny at just £2.33 a glass. Would you be as shocked as our first guests? pic.twitter.com/yLl3NkBlfR

Green Flag and Little Tikes offered roadside assistance for toy cars that children have outgrown.
It was a lovely, sentimental, and really perfectly timed story in the run-up to Christmas. The whole premise being that the Green Flag and Little Tikes would offer a ‘roadside assistance service, that would see them take old and outgrown kids’ toy cars and redistribute them out to less fortunate children.
The newswire pictures to accompany the story were brilliant and really painted a great picture.
Live in London & have a ‘Cozy Coupe’ that your children have outgrown? In partnership with @LittleTikesUK we’ll rescue & take them to be recycled. New toy wheels will be given to children’s charity @theTOYprojectuk for disadvantaged schools, nurseries & families. Our 📧 is below. pic.twitter.com/h5kpgTlzEj

After a few bad stunts by Pepsi (cough cough, Kendall Jenner), it’s nice to see them doing a clever Christmas campaign. The ad shows a truck, suspiciously similar to the classic Christmas Coca-Cola truck, stopping for petrol and catching Santa in the act – getting a Pepsi Max!
I’ve seen this all over TikTok this month and everyone in the comments seems to love it. Well done Pepsi.

M&S Romford is killing it on TikTok at the moment, with their funny videos going viral in October and racking up tens of thousands of views. This month has been filled with amazing Christmas content from the workers in the store, but the best has to be “This is not just a Christmas song. This is Team Romford’s Christmas song”. It was written and performed by one of their own employees and released into the charts to raise money for Shelter and Together for Short Lives. Check it out below!

I really like this social campaign from THIS. They are a new vegan food brand with realism to meat in taste, appearance, and texture. Sound familiar? This is why this advert is a great play on another meat-free counterpart. It’s super simple but a really authentic and engaging piece of content.

It’s been a year filled with incredible campaigns that have given the team lots of inspiration, but there’s nothing quite like a Christmas campaign is there? December has seen many companies raising their A-game and putting us in a festive mood. We have had an amazing year and are looking forward to 2022!
