Our research and insight planning all begins with a dedicated workshop where we invest time in finding out more about your business, your challenges and goals and we then work with you to help you align your communications objectives.
It’s this approach that allows us to tailor the most effective strategy to meet your goals and objectives and then work as part of your extended team to execute it. The key things we look to include as part of this research and insight gathering are:
- Audience mapping: to understand each of your target audiences, their individual idiosyncrasies, what makes them tick, the problems they face and how your business can solve them. We’ll also look to find out to what extent each audience impacts your business. This allows us to tier audiences accordingly in order of importance.
- Communications audit: to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your current external and internal communications channels. We’ll look across your owned media channels including your website, blog, social media channels and content assets such as existing white papers. We’ll also look at previous external communications activities, how they were handled and where the gaps are. This will include reviewing your company communications assets including backgrounders, leadership team profiles, boilerplate and elevator pitch. Also, any infographics, images, video, imagery and logos that you use.
