BMC launch event


If you’re a B2B marketer who’s passionate about moving the industry on, then please join us at the Business Marketing Club’s South West launch event at CBRE’s Bristol office in September.

Recognising that B2B marketers have never before had to work as hard to react, respond and reinvent themselves to ensure they are relevant, the Business Marketing Club offers an opportunity to share best practice and views on the future of B2B marketing, listen to a diverse mix of speakers and meet like-minded marketing directors and managers from across sectors.

Already well established in London and the Midlands, the Business Marketing Club is now coming to the South West and is open to B2B marketers working in businesses and organisations large and small. We’re working to create and build a strong regional network to support the profession and want to find out what South West based B2B marketers want and need to help them and the businesses they represent.

For our first South West event, we’re meeting for breakfast at CBRE’s South West office in Bristol. And, we’ll be hearing from two very different B2B marketers – Dave Stevens, Marketing Director at British Land and Chair of the BMC and Helen Woodcock, Marketing Manager at Bristol-based data systems consultancy KETL – as they share their B2B experiences and challenges for the future and open up the floor for some worthwhile debate.

Our speakers:

Dave Stevens:

Dave is Chair of the Business Marketing Club and an experienced global B2B Chief Marketing Officer / Marketing Director with an established reputation for delivering commercial results in start-up, mid-tier, and blue-chip businesses across professional and financial services, telecoms, and technology sectors. Dave has worked for major brands such as Telefonica O2, EY, and Barclays and held posts from Chief Marketing Officer to Director of Online, has run his own business, and managed a P&L for a major corporate. He is a graduate of Cambridge University, a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Chartered Marketer and holds a MBA with Imperial College, London. He is currently Marketing Director of FTSE 60 business British Land.

Helen Woodcock:

Helen is the Business Development and Marketing Manager at system integration and data analytics consultancy KETL. They work for brands such as RAC, Monsoon Accessorize and Age UK. She has been in the role for 3 years and the company has more than tripled in that time. She has worked in marketing and business development for the past 18 years in both the private and public sector and in B2C and B2B, including Regent’s University and The Employment Service.

She love sworking in the Bristol Tech sector and is on the advisory board for Women’s Tech Hub Bristol, is one of the organisers for Tech4GoodBristol and runs tech user groups too. She talks and blogs on all things related to data, including data governance (GDPR) and data quality.

Helen is also a respite foster carer for Bristol City Council and a governor at the Hope School for children in care.
