As the organisers of Social Media Week Bristol, we’ve had the opportunity to send our Digital Lead Evie state side this week to represent AMBITIOUS and pick up industry insight and ideas from leading lights in the world of social, creativity & digital.

Social Media Week (SMW) is one of the world’s premier conferences and industry news platforms for professionals in media, marketing and technology. Their mission is to give professionals at the intersection of media, marketing and technology the insights, ideas and opportunities they need to advance themselves and their organisations in a globally connected world. The event started in New York 10 years ago and has continued to grow globally to many cities across the world.

AMBITIOUS is responsible for bringing Social Media Week to Bristol in 2016, with the support of Bristol Media and the experience of AMBITIOUS Director Sarah Woodhouse (having run Social Media Week in Hong Kong). June this year will play host to the third successful Social Media Week in Bristol with over 30 events taking place across the city covering a range of sessions from skill-ups to campaign insights.

AMBITIOUS will be hosting its own event during Social Media Week Bristol this year at The Everyman Cinema on 10th June – An exclusive video presentation from Seth Godin: Social Media and the Revolution

Fresh back from Social Media New York Evie will introduce this video event. Seth’s talk on Social Media and the Revolution was recorded on May 2 at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. And, we are delighted to be able to share it with our attendees at Social Media Week Bristol.
