FIVE THINGS WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO IN AUGUST

Balloons are filling the Bristol skyline so it must be August!  Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is just one of the many things that our PR agency is getting excited about. So here’s our hot picks of things we’ll be going to during this last summer month…

Mel:

“I have always loved reading and writing is still one of my favourite parts of this job! One of my childhood favourites was the Malory Towers series of books, set in a girls boarding school atop the Cornish coastline. I can’t wait to see it bought to life this August as the Passenger Shed at Temple Meads is converted into the school for a production by The Bristol Old Vic. I hope my daughter and niece, who I am taking with me,, love it as much as I do!”

Evie:

“I’m looking forward to some ‘laid-back networking’ at the Glug Summer party early this month! It’s taking place at The Square Club, where they are putting on a BBQ and serving cocktails!”

Hannah:

“This month I’m looking forward to going to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. This year will be my first and falls on my birthday weekend, so it’ll be a great way to kickstart the birthday celebrations. I’m just praying that the rain stays away!”

Greg:

“I’m looking forward to August Bank Holiday, when I’m hoping to head back to Cornwall for the long weekend. Fingers crossed it will be sunny, so I can spend some time at the beach and it’s also the perfect excuse to eat lots of pasties, ice creams and fish and chips.”

Izzy:

“I am looking forward to Workout + Network at Origin Workspace, this time round it’s the Harbourside run (walk or jog!) so I’m hoping for some August sunshine!”
