FIVE THINGS WE ENJOYED IN APRIL

April has come and nearly gone and the Easter Bunny wasn’t the only one making appearances… Team AMBITIOUS were out and about in Bristol at a host of events and gatherings, so here’s a recap of our top five:

Evie:

“I’ve been attending Workout and Network events for over a year now, so I joined the Origin Workspace team at the end of April in their new studio for a yoga class and a sneak peak of the new coworking space before the launch.”

Greg:

“I went along to the CIPR South West networking event, on the 9th April at the Marriot Royal Park Street. I enjoyed having a drink with the other CIPR members, learning about forthcoming events planned for this year and also getting the lowdown on the PRide awards, which are now open for entries.”

Izzy:

“My highlight from April was going to a virtual reality workshop at Corsham Institute with my college, this was my second go on their HTC VIVE headset. I really enjoyed going on Google’s Tilt Brush application last session, so this time I was excited to create something different.”

Lis:

“April is certainly for getting out and about. And, for residents of Bristol, April is the month that Durdham Downs changes its sky line to transform into Funderworld – the UK’s largest mobile theme park! It’s a Bristol traditional not to be missed!”

Sarah:

“I had a blast celebrating with the team at the Bristol Life Awards on the 11th April at the ‘uberglam’ Lloyds Amphitheatre. We were nominated for the Business Services Category this year, although we didn’t win, it was a great night!
