FIVE THINGS WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO IN JANUARY

It’s 2019! The festivities are over but fear not. Our Bristol PR team are back to work at AMBITIOUS HQ and we’ve plenty of exciting things planned to avoid the January blues. Here’s a run-down of what we’re up to this month…

Sarah:

I’m looking forward to attending the Bristol Life Business Club lunch on January 23rd. Bevis Watts, Managing Director of the sustainable bank Triodos, will be speaking at the event, he plans to explore what it means to run an ethical bank. It is a great opportunity to network with other businesses and learn unique insights from the Bristol Life team and a leading business speaker.

Evie:

To kickstart 2019, I will be attending the Bristol Business Brainstorm by the harbourside. Really looking forward to meeting new start-ups in Bristol and helping solve some of their business challenges.

Lis:

Evie and I are excited to be hosting a workshop. It’s the SETsquared workshop: How PR can deliver better SEO results for your business.Attendees will take away practical tips on the different ways they can do PR on a budget and the objectives they should be measuring.

Izzy:

I’m looking forward to starting my apprenticeship workshop sessions with Cirencester College this month. Some of my learning sessions include digital graphics, video, and motion graphics. I hope that I can bring some of these skills to my role at AMBITIOUS and share what I’ve learnt with the team

Mel:

This month ‘m looking forward to going along to my local cookery school, The Little Kitchen in BS4, for a lesson in how to make delicious home cooked curry from scratch. The freshly made spice mixes and pastes we’ll be learning to make should keep the winter colds and flu at bay and hopefully produce some warming winter meals. Watch out Team AMBITIOUS for taste testing!

Are you planning to go along to any of these events – or are you looking forward to something we’ve missed? Let us know in the comments below, or connect with us on Twitter @Ambitiouspr.
