And, we were delighted to be crowed winners of the Best Event of the Year category, beating off three other finalists, for our Social Media Week Bristol campaign.
Open to all parties involved in the use of PR for communications purposes, including; PR consultancies, in-house communications teams, digital agencies, marketing teams and media owners, DARE aims to uncover impeccable talent, and celebrate PR professionals far and wide.
The ceremonies, which take place in six cities across the country, each hand out a number of awards to those most deserving, the winners chosen by a panel of respected industry experts.
Judges feedback for our award supported AMBITIOUS strategic approach, with the judging committee commenting, “This campaign had at the heart of it a great idea, with excellent delivery and evaluation. They also added that the campaign had excellent strategy therefore delivered great results.”
Sarah Woodhouse, director, AMBITIOUS, said: “Market research helped us identify the key players we needed on board as advocates to make Social Media Week Bristol a success. Our strategy was then to ensure stakeholders had a vested interest and ‘skin in the game’ so the event became a collaborative undertaking. This encouraged engagement, amplification, excitement and a spirit of community and support around the execution of the event.”
This year’s PRCA DARE Awards comes on the back of as successful 2018 award run with AMBITIOUS picking up The Drum’s RAR Best PR Agency of the Year, alongside CIPR Pride Awards Gold for Best Event.
