A Big Noise for a Good Cause

A very exciting week last week at AMBITIOUS towers with the launch of a competition for our lovely digital marketing client, Noisy Little Monkey. One Bristol or Somerset based charity or not for profit will win over £9k’s worth of support from Noisy Little Monkey for the next year!

Open for entries until this Sunday at midnight (21st April) we’ve had great support from local media so far with BBC Radio Somerset, the Bristol Evening Post, Western Daily Press and Breeze and Jack FM all giving us a mention.

Go to http://www.noisylittlemonkey.com/big-noise-2013/ or read all about it below and make sure you spread the word to any clients or contacts who might be eligible to enter………..

Local charities and not-for-profit organisations could be in with the chance of winning a year’s digital marketing support worth over £9,000, thanks to the launch of a new competition from social media marketing company, Noisy Little Monkey.

Aptly named ‘Big Noise for a Good Cause’, to enter the competition, registered charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises simply need to visit the Noisy Little Monkey website (www.NoisyLittleMonkey.com ) and follow the instructions on how to enter. Each organisation that enters will receive its own ‘page’ on the Noisy Little Monkey website, which will include a statement on why they should win.

The winner will be decided through a combination of public vote and a judging panel, which will include representatives from the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Shepton Mallet Chamber of Commerce, both of which are supporting the ‘Big Noise for a Good Cause’ initiative.

Commenting on the Big Noise competition, Jon Payne, founder and director of Noisy Little Monkey said;

“With most charities finding 2012 a tougher year than ever*, we understand how much pressure not-for-profits are under right now, both in terms of raising funds and being able to continue supporting those who rely on their help.

“Keeping loyal supporters and attracting new donors is therefore high on the agenda for many of the region’s not-for-profits. This is where we think using social media marketing can really help, hence our Big Noise for a Good Cause competition.

“While only one organisation will win, all those that enter will get their own page on the Noisy Little Monkey site, which they will then be able to share through Twitter and Facebook and their other social media channels to get votes. So hopefully, just by participating, everyone that takes part will be able to use their involvement as a way to connect with existing and potential supporters and draw attention to their cause.”

The winning organisation will work with Noisy Little Monkey to develop a bespoke campaign tailored to suit its specific requirements. This could include; search engine optimisation, social media marketing, website and content creation, digital marketing training and mobile optimisation.

Open for applications from organisations based in Bristol and Somerset, or from those that work with communities in these areas, the competition is open for entries until midnight Sunday 21 April.

Public voting will then take place for a three week period from 29 April to 19 May, with the results of the public vote and judging panel deciding the eventual winner for announcement on the 27 May.
